Accelerometer uses piezoelectric polymer
Based on piezoelectric polymer sensing technology, the ACH-05 provides
continuous machine-health monitoring over a frequency of 0.7 Hz to 10 kHz.
The device is designed for applications where low cost and ruggedness are
required. Operating over a temperature range of -40 degrees to 115
degreesC with a temperature dependence of less than 10%, the stainless
steel-packaged devices can withstand shocks of greater than 5,000 g's.
They exhibit a sensitivity of 100 mV/g, a resonant frequency of 40 kHz, a
dynamic range of <_2b_>50 g's, a linearity of 0.1%, and a transverse
sensitivity of 3%. The ACH-05 operates from standard constant-current
diode supplies and are available in adhesive, 10-32 stud, and 1/4-28 stud
configurations. Connection options include twin BNC, TNC, PVC cable, and
Teflon cable. ($88 ea/100–stock.) Elf Atochem Sensors, Inc. Valley
