Acoustic vents protect against water, oil

The GAW324 and GAW325 vents contain a unique expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) membrane that minimizes loss of sound transmission through audio port coverings while preventing liquids from leaking in through the port. The hydrophobic GAW324 protects against water, the oleophobic GAW325 against oils, soaps, and alcohols.

The IP 67-compliant vents also reduce the possibility of condensation buildup inside a unit by letting water vapor escape through the vent’s microporous membrane.
