Adapting Qi-compliant wireless-power solutions to low-power wearable products

A large number of low-power wearable devices such as smart watches are typically small and thin with battery sizes ranging from 100- to 300-mAh capacity. The challenge for charging them is that the plug-and-jack style or micro-USB types of connectors are too large for some of these ultra-thin wearable devices. Wireless charging is a solution to these problems and offers additional opportunities to designers.
