With clean, ergonomic styling, Piton rack-handle assemblies provide easily added handles and captive fasteners for moving and securing 19-in. rack-mounted equipment. The 1U to 6U-sized units have a robust, molded-ABS/PC-polymer design with integrated captive #10-32 screws that secure an enclosure to any equipment rack. The handles mount outboard of the front panel space and require no special panel preparation.

Compliant with EIA-310, RoHS, and NEBS, the handles suit datacom, telecom, storage, pro-audio, broadcast, and test applications, and can be used with subracks where no fixed front panel exists. The handles are supplied as a single part number kit — with two handles, four captive screws, and four mounting screws — to reduce documentation, procurement, kitting, and assembly costs.
