The PI3EQX7841 5.0 Gbit/s single port USB 3.0 ReDriver IC has an I2 C set-up interface to adjust equalization, de-emphasis, and output swings for optimized performance over a variety of physical mediums and reduced inter-symbol interference. It supports two 100 Ω differential CML data I/O’s. A low-level input signal detection and output squelch function is provided.
The IC takes only 330 mw from a single 3.3 V supply over -40° to 85°C and has an auto slumber mode for adaptive power management. It comes in a 4 x 4 mm 20-Pin TQFN package for approximately $1.48 ea/3,500.
