The LC823450 audio-processing SoC has a Cortex-M3 processor core and a 32-bit/192 kHz audio-processing engine. It also features 1.656 Mbytes of SRAM and power-efficient hardware based MP3 encoding/decoding and wireless support, plus an external memory controller and a Quad SPI interface.
The 5.52 x 5.33 mm WLP-154 packaged chip includes an A/D converter, a phase-locked loop, and a class-D amplifier, along with SPI, I2 C, USB 2.0, SDCard, and UART interfaces. Royalty- and license-free DSP code samples are available for functions including noise cancelation and S-LIVE (Low-frequency intelligence virtual excitation) for enhanced playback of low frequencies. $8.34 ea/1,000.
