Advanced FPGA features 28 Gbit/s transceivers

The Virtex-7 H580T FPGA uses stacked silicon interconnect technology to provide 580,480 logic cells plus eight 28 Gbit/s and forty-eight 13.1 Gbit/s transceivers. The device has 33,840 kbits of RAM in 36 kbit blocks and features dual 12-bit 1 Ms/s A/D converters.

The FPGA also has 1,680 DSP slices two PCIe blocks, and available 100G gearbox, Ethernet MAC, OTN and Interlaken IP. It comes in 35 x 35 or 45 x 45 mm HCG1155, HCG1931, and HCG1932 packages with 400 or 600 I/Os. (Price not given — available now.)
