The aTCA-6250 AdvancedTCA processor blade features dual 8-core Xeon E5-2658 and E2648L processors with a C604 chipset and eight memory sockets supporting up to 128 Gbytes of VLP DDR3-1600. The card also has dual 10GBASE-KX4 fabric interface channels, quad front panel GbE interfaces, and a 400 W power supply subsystem.
The blade has a PCI Express 2.0 capable 82599EB 10 GbE controller for high-speed data transfer on the PICMG 3.1 fabric Interface. It has dual front panel USB and COM ports, and a SATA DOM socket and provides future support for accelerated packet processing capability via an optional mezzanine card.
