Al electrolytic caps handle high ripple current

The B43545 and B43547 series of aluminum electrolytic capacitors offer a very high ripple current capability and a longer useful life. The B43545 has a useful life of 5,000 h and the B43547 8,000 h, with rated voltages of 200 to 450 V DC. Capacitances are 82 to 820 µF and 82 to 2200 µF.

For example, the B43547 200 V, 1,000 µF, 25 x 50 mm model as an AC current rating of 7.13 amps at 100 Hz and 60°C. ESR for that capacitor is 70 mΩ at 100 Hz/20°C. These units all have low thermal resistances and excellent high frequency characteristics. Capacitance tolerance is ±20% and they operate at up to 105°C. (From $2 in quantity – 14 weeks ARO.)
