AMC processor cards feature MPU choice

The XPedite5140, XPedite7040, XPedite8040 SBC single-width, mid-height advanced mezzanine cards (AMCs) feature a dual-core Freescale MPC8641D, an Intel Core2 Duo, or a P.A. Semi PA6T-1682M processor.

The Freescale version can have up to 4 Gbytes of DDR2 SDRAM and 4 Gbytes of NAND flash, with quad GbE ports, serial ports, and PCI Express. The Intel version has the 3100 chipset and the P.A. Semi has up to 4 Gbytes of DDR2 SDRAM, quad GbE ports, dual 10-Gbit XAUI ports, and PCI Express. ($2,000 to $4,000—available now.)
