Amphenol Industrial Products Group’s Max M12 product line now includes board-level connectors with straight- or right-angle solder pins that mate to a pc board. Like previous versions, the latest connectors are designed to support high-speed data-transmission devices used in harsh environments.
The connectors have an operating temperature range of −55°C to 125°C, a current rating of 4 A, IP67 and IP69K ratings, and the ability to withstand 240 hours of salt spray. Based on IEC 61076-2-101 and SAE J2839 specs, the connectors are backward-compatible and can be mated with any standard M12 connector with the same indexing. Delivery is 8-10 weeks ARO.
