Analog scopes provide three channels, eight-trace display capability
The models 8106 and 8105 analog scopes both feature a 100-MHz bandwidth
and three-channel operation. The 8106 adds features such as auto setup
and on-screen displays that include continuous readout of channel 1 signal
frequency, period and average dc level, or peak-to-peak signal amplitude.
Both units include a calibrated delayed sweep with alternate sweep,
with six traces displayed in the alternate sweep mode. The sum of channels
1 and 2 (or difference with channel 2 inverted) can be displayed together
with channels 1 to 3, making an eight-trace display possible.
The main time base ranges from 50 ns/div to 0.5 s/div in 22 steps. Vertical
sensitivity for channels 1 and 2 is from 1 mV/div to 5 V/div in 12 steps.
Bandwidth is restricted to 20 MHz in the 1- and 2-mV/div settings. (Model
8106, $1,995; Model 8105, $1,760–available now.)
