Users’ mobile activity on social media is also analyzed in the data compiled by BI Intelligence, and daily statistics are noted for peak times in social network usage.
This study essentially helps businesses target their audience more efficiently on both the domestic and international level. Enterprises can then identify which social media platform they should advertise on to gain more traction, since social media is so vital in the development of a brand or company.
The world’s youth still dominates Facebook internationally, but in the past year, the 45 to 54-year-old age bracket has increased by 45%. 73% of U.S. Facebook users report their income as $75,000. Facebook’s user rate outside of the U.S. is 86%.
Everybody loves to consume information in 140 characters or less! 27% of 18 to 29-year-old Americans tweet. Only 16% of 30 to 40-year-olds use Twitter.
