Antenna coupler eases TETRA testing

Designed to work with the 2303 Stabilock mobile station tester for servicing TETRA professional-walkie-talkie mobile radios, the model 4914 antenna coupler eliminates the need for radio-specific adapters. The coupler can also be used for mobile phone systems operating in the 400-MHz range, such as CDMA-450.

For testing, a radio is placed on the adjustable shuttle of the coupler (which is connected to the test set’s RF port) and is positioned for testing. The coupler lets the radio’s antenna be included in the test, rather than dismounted or bypassed, thus raising the confidence level in the radio’s operation.
