Antennas for wireless apps resist tampering

Available in 418- and 433-MHz models, the WRT Series antennas suit a variety of wireless applications that require a tamper-resistant solution. The antennas feature a 27-mm-high radome that installs through a small hole, is anchored by a threaded base, and is covered by an adhesive foam compression ring that resists the elements.

The antennas operate at recommended frequencies of 409 to 426 MHz, with typical ≤1.9 VSWR at center. The devices have an integral counterpoise that reduces the need for a proximity ground plane. The antennas’ coax feed is available with SMA or RP-SMA terminations. (Less than $7 each — available now.)
