The SH-MobileHD1 SH7370 application processor delivers full HD (1,920 x 1,080-pixel) video recording, playback, and streaming support for next-generation products, including mobile phones and video surveillance. It supports the H.264/MPEG-4 video compression at full HD resolution and 30 fps.
The 500-MHz processor has a CSI-2 standard camera interface, two 24-bit dedicated audio DSPs, 512 Mbits of SRAM, two 4-way set associative 32-Kbyte instruction/data cache memories, and a 24-bit TFT LCD controller. It comes in a 407-pin BGA package and has I2 C, serial with FIFO, sound, and SD memory card interfaces. ($40.86 ea/10,000 available now.)
