Arb generators perform for a reasonable price

Using direct digital synthesis, the 4084AWG and 4086AWG arbitrary waveform generators generate 27 built-in standard and complex waveforms. The stable, accurate sources produce sine waves to 20 and 80 MHz, respectively, and have a 100-MHz counter with frequency measurement and totalize function.

Creation of 10-bit vertical-resolution arbitrary waveforms is supported by 16-ksample memory, 200-MHz sample rate, and waveform import from Tektronix TDS1000, 2000,3000, and TPS2000 series DSOs. The generators output signals down to the 1 to 10-mV range, support external modulation sources, and work with external and gated trigger sources. (4084AWG, $1,295; 4086AWG, $1,895–available now.)
