ARM-based MCU provides efficient vector control of two motors

Fiber-optic module provides four 10-G lanes

The AFBR-79E4Z QSFP+ fiber-optic transceiver module provides four independent 10-Gbit/s data lanes in each direction for 40-Gbit/s aggregate bandwidth. The pluggable modules are an excellent alternative to copper interconnects for switch and router connections, data aggregation systems, and backplane applications.

The modules are fully compliant to the IEEE 802.3ba 40GBase SR4 specification, and they support the IBTA 4 x 10G QDR for Infiniband. They have 10-Gbit/s data rates for up to 100 m using multimode OM3 fiber, or 150 m on OM4 fiber, with a nominal wavelength of 850 nm. They also feature power consumption under 1.5 W, 21-mm horizontal port pitch, 0° to 70°C case temperature operation, and full real-time digital diagnostic monitoring.
