ASSP XO solution runs at up to 159 MHz

Suited for applications in networking, storage, ultra mobility, and digital media markets, the family of Application Specific Standard Product Crystal Oscillators (ASSP-XO) operates at frequencies ranging from 2 to 159 MHz. The family uses the company’s XP clock circuit technology for 150 MHz and above, to provide added reliability compared to overtone solutions.

In addition, the oscillators use BAW crystal devices that offer better stability as compared to SAW- or MEMS-based designs. This tight stability is important for applications such as Wi-Fi. With typical phase jitter of less than 0.5 ps, the ASSP XO family provides the lowest jitter for high-speed applications, and also offers power consumption as low as 2.0 mA.
