The Athena III (ATHE1000A-1G) rugged small-form-factor single board computer uses an Atom E640T CPU running at 1.0 GHz, and features a 1 Gigabit Ethernet port, four serial ports, and four USB 2.0 ports. The board features data acquisition with 16 analog inputs, a 150-kHz 16-bit (±3-LSB) A/D converter, and four 12-bit analog outputs.
Available now for $1,050, t he 4.175 x 4.475-in. card has a 512-sample FIFO with programmable threshold and uses auto calibration technology for the A/D and D/A circuits. It has 1 Gbytes of DDR2 DRAM, VGA CRT and LVDS LCD display outputs, a SATA port, and -40º to 85ºC operation.
