Audio amps offer advanced features

The TAS5709 and TAS5710 digital-input audio power amplifiers combine 32 bits of advanced audio processing and 20 W of stereo output power into a single package. The parts support speaker equalization (EQ) and dual-band dynamic range control (DRC) and offer TI’s unique 3D and bass-boost technology.

Features include up to nine biquad filters per channel, and dual-band DRC with selectable threshold, attack, and decay. A two-channel I2 S input provides a direct connection to the digital processor. (From $2.40 ea/1,000 — available now.)
