Audio ICs specifically target USB peripherals

The CX2077x USB audio codec and CX3102x USB streaming controller integrate a DSP and tricolor RGB PWM LED driver. Key DSP enhancements offered in the CX2077x include super wideband noise reduction, sub-band acoustic echo cancellation, dynamic range control, 3D sound effects, and microphone auto gain control. Each LED output has its own 8-bit resolution PWM controller for brightness and dimming control.

The tri-color PWM LED driver makes it possible to design products that are visually appealing and energy-efficient with an LED light source that communicates on/off status, power standby mode, and other status indicators. Additional features include, PCM/I2 S, S/PDIF digital audio interfaces, stereo input, stereo headphone driver, generous general-purpose input/output GPIO interfaces for peripheral connectivity, and SPI/I2 C interfaces.The CX2077x is housed in a 48- or 64-pin QFN package, while the CX3102x is in a 64-pin QFN.
