Audio playback IC stores up to 30 s

The ChipCorder ISD2100 single-chip digital audio digital playback IC, enables industrial and consumer product makers to add audio playback of voice and/or music. The IC provides digital compression, flash storage for audio playback of up to 30 s, and a Class D speaker driver.

The programmable device features less than 1 uA standby current, a sampling rate of up to 32 kHz, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 60 dB. The QFN20-packaged chip has an SPI interface and uses simple index-based commands for playback. (10-s-duration version, $1 ea/volume qty samples available now.)
