Automotive sample kit offers transponder coils
A sample kit developed for automotive electronics manufacturers offers the B82450A and B82451N transponder coils. Featuring dimensions of 7.8 x 2.7 x 2.7 mm3 and 11.4 x 3.5 x 3.5 mm3 , the B82450A series is designed for polarization in the x-y coordinates, and covers inductances from 1.0 and 7.0 mH, with sensitivity between 10 and 51 m V/µT.
The B82451N series features dimensions of 7.7 x 7.7 x 2.65 mm3 and is designed for polarization in the z coordinate. Both types of coils offer frequencies to 125 kHz and operate in the 40° to 125°C temperature range. The RoHS-compatible coils are suited for Pb-free reflow soldering to JEDEC J-STD 020C. and can be processed with SMT automatic placement systems. ($75 available now.)
