Avnet Electronics Marketing Experts to Present at the Freescale Technology Forum

Experts from Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, a business region of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE:AVT), will present at the sixth annual Freescale Technology Forum (FTF) Americas taking place June 21-24, 2010, at the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton Conference Centers in Orlando, Fla.

Offering engineers more than 350 hours of technical training classes and 175 product and technology demos, FTF has become a top embedded semiconductor event for engineers. Jim Carver, technical director for Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, will present “Microcontrollers for Advanced Signal Processing” featuring the signal processing capabilities of Freescale solutions. As well, John Weber, technology specialist from Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, will co-present with Phillip Burr, Inflexion and Mobile product marketing director, from Mentor Graphics, Embedded Software Division, on “Create Innovative User Interfaces without Coding Using the Android™ OS and Freescale’s i.MX51.” Both presentations will arm attendees with a greater understanding of Freescale’s new products and the cutting-edge technology available to generate real-time solutions for today’s OEMs.

Technical experts will also be on hand to discuss the collaboration between Emerson Network Power, Mentor Graphics and Freescale on Power Architecture® technology for small form factor boards.
