Backshell connector fits rugged applications
The KPTC Series backshell connector provides high contact density in a rugged metal shell to suit applications such as industrial machinery, motion control, power generators, engine control, and mobile-phone base stations. Offered with size 20 and size 16 contacts, the connector can integrate custom harnessing rigs and accommodates a wide range of wire gauges.
Additional features include IP 67 sealing and gold plated contacts. Bayonet coupling simplifies mating and unmating. Contact current rating at 20°C is 7.5 A for the size 20 connector and 22 A for the size 16 connector. Contact resistance is 14.7 and 3.8 mΩ, respectively. ($23 to $26 — 6 weeks ARO.)
