The CPFE500F range of baseplate-cooled power supplies provides 500 W without the need for fan cooling. The supplies have an extended temperature range from –40° to 85°C and suit high-power applica-tions where a fan cannot be used or where the unit is sealed in an enclosure.
These single-output power supplies are available in 12-, 24-, 28-, or 48-Vdc output versions, with an efficiency of 85%. Operating from a universal input of 90 to 265 Vac with PFC, these units have outputs that can be connected in either a series or parallel configuration with active current-share. The supplies feature up to ±20% output voltage adjustment, and lightning-surge capability of up to 6 kV. They have a protective coating to guard against moisture, dust, and other contaminants, making them suitable for harsh, outdoor or dusty applications such as LED signage, COTS military, food processing and print/packaging applications. They meet EN55022/EN55011 Class B, MIL STD 461/462D and CE102 EMC specifications. ($525 ea/100 — available now.)
