The IBB-250 is modular wall-mount dc power system that targets power generation and distribution systems, railways, mining, oil and gas extraction, maritime, and chemical processing applications. The modular system provides a hot plug-in design for replacement of a failed rectifier with no disruption to the working system. It supports up to six Flatpack2 HE rectifiers and is available in 125-, 48- or 24-Vdc output configurations.
Based on the state-of-the-art Flatpack2 high efficiency switched mode rectifiers, the dc power system reduces the size and weight of battery chargers, allowing capacity of up to 200 amps to be wall, rack or floor mounted. The system uses multiple plug-in rectifiers to deliver its capacity. If a rectifier fails, the remaining rectifiers will pick up the additional load as their capacity allows. Typical efficiencies range between 94 and 96.6% and features an MTBF >380,000 h. The IBB-250 WM weighs 150 lbs. while the WME version is 180 lbs.
