Battery holder fits D batteries

Targeting applications requiring high reliability, the BHD-2 battery holder accommodates D-sized batteries. Built-in reverse battery protection prevents contact if the battery is inserted backwards.

PCB mounting is accomplished with either twin 0.1-in.-wide PCB tails or two wire holes on the contact tails for hard wiring. Contacts are 0.026-in.-thick nickel-plated stainless steel, and the PBT body offers chemical and solvent resistance. ($2.49 ea/1,000—available now.)
