BCM6410/6420 BladeRunner™ ADSL2+ Central Office Chipset
The unmatched integration and low power dissipation of the BladeRunner chipset provides manufacturers of DSLAM and NGDLC line card equipment the ability to achieve more ports per cubic area, and thus, reduces the over all system cost, as well as dramatically lowers the per-port cost of delivering DSL.
The BCM6410,chipset consists of a 12-channel DSL digital transceiver, and the BCM6420, a 12-channel DSL analog front-end chip. Together, the chips support full-rate ADSL at up to 12 Megabit per second (Mbps) with a power dissipation of only 900mW under typical worst-case conditions. The BladeRunner chipset also integrates all of the memory, processor and internetworking technology typically found externally on a DSL line card. The chipset supports all of the industry standards, including ADSL2+ annex A, B, and C.
Features:
Highest Density ADSL2+ Central Office (CO) Chipset
