Now, thanks to ThinkGeek, you’ll finally get your chance: their new Technomancer Digital Wizard Hoodie lets you cast spells complete with LED lights and sound effects, by tracking your movements.
The hoodie was released after overwhelming demand from the public, after ThinkGeek unveiled it on April Fool’s Day last year as a joke product.

Complete with a speaker box, 32 multicolored LEDs, and an accelerometer all removable to make it safe to wash—please remember to remove them; we deal with enough tears during the holidays—the Technomancer comes with nine different spells attached to specific motion sequences: electroshock, thunderbolt, restore health, fireball, shockwave, energy beam, raise the dead, warp, and water bending. The wearer can also restore mana and become a color caster, meaning you can play with the LED lights in the hoodie.
However, these spells only work if you get the accompanying motions exactly right, so you’ll need to practice, practice, practice. It comes with a spell chart to help you out at the beginning, but the spells still take a fair bit of work. And while you won’t wind up with the ability to fling a fireball at your exhausting relatives this holiday season (more’s the pity), you can pretend to behind their backs for a bit of stress-relief.
