The creators of gamer-favorite Guitar Hero have created a new karaoke experience for users who can’t quite hit all the notes. Compatible with iOS, Android, and Kindle, you can use Singtrix with just about any electronic product that has a 3.55-mm jack. Plug it into Singtrix, and BAM – you’re ready to have amazing stadium sounding vocals during your jam session.

Instead of always wishing that karaoke machines had your favorite songs pre-programmed, you can now sing karaoke to any song that’s on your plugged-in device. The vocals of the track are automatically detected, removed, and then replaced with your vocals instead.

The system comes with a microphone, a microphone stand, a 40-watt 2.1-channel speaker/sound system, a subwoofer, and a stand to rest your electronic device. A Singtrix Karaoke app can be downloaded for iOS, Android, and Kindle, where users can play over 13,000 songs with lyrics. The app comes with a subscription that can be purchased in the iTunes store. Users can also buy individual tracks if they feel that the subscription is unnecessary.

The three skill levels – enhanced, semi-pro, and pro – determine to what extent Singtrix alters your voice. Singtrix comes equipped with 350 controllable vocal effects, such as reverb and pitch-alteration, which can change your pitch to make your auto tune range span from Taylor Swift to T-Pain’s supreme auto-tuned style. There are dials on the module so you can adjust your vocals in real time. The two buttons on the microphone allow you switch the sound of your voice mid-song. The “song voice” allows users to lower the pitch of their vocals on any song of their choosing.

Other effects include “Live Harmony,” which duplicates your voice and creates a harmony over the song that you’re singing for added vocal depth.

You can currently pre-order Singtrix for $299 before it officially hits shelves in December.
