The BWT-104 benchtop wind tunnel lets designers evaluate thermal and airflow characteristics of boards, components, and cooling devices such as heat sinks, heat exchangers, and cold plates. It provides homogeneous flows up to 6 m/s.

The 910 x 440 x 440-mm 14.5-kg system has three 24-Vdc fans, honeycombs and screens to break up turbulence, an access panel for DUT mounting, 12 ports for inserting temperature/velocity probes, and optional PCB/heat-sink rail guides. Capable of horizontal or vertical operation, the aluminum-Plexiglas tunnel lets user see inside the test chamber, and comes with either basic or optional automated flow controller.
