BGA test socket can withstand high temps

The CBT-BGA-7005 BGA test socket for digital camera processors withstands temperatures from –55° to 180°C. The specific configuration of the package to be tested in the CBT-BGA-7005 is a 13 x 13-mm, 0.65-mm-pitch, 293-position, 19 x1 9-ball BGA and features a floating guide for precise alignment.

The contactor is a stamped spring pin with 26-g actuation force per ball, a 500,000-insertion cycle life and a current capacity of 4 A at 80°C temperature rise. Contactor self-inductance is 0.88 nH, with ≤ 1 dB insertion loss at 15.7 GHz and capacitance of 0.097 pF. (From $931 each — available now.)
