Board attaches µSD storage card to MCUs
The µDRIVE-uSD-G1 is a tiny module that facilitates attachment of data storage to any microcontroller. The 14.9 x 18.9 x 3.5-mm card has an RS-232 serial interface (300 baud to 256 kbaud) and accesses a 64-Mbyte to 2-Gbyte micro-SD memory card with data blocks ranging from a single byte to 512 bytes.
The board’s two LEDs indicate system status, and it operates from 3.6 to 6.0 V at about 25 mA. A USB interface for firmware updates is optional. ($37—available now.)
