Board connects USB devices to Ethernet

The ASRB-USB USB host board with built-in ARM7 controller converts legacy USB devices into Ethernet network-enabled devices, overcoming the 5-m USB-cable-length limitation. The 5-V-powered board has a USB type A connector socket and acts as a USB 2.0 full-speed (12-Mbit/s) host.

The card’s autosensing 10/100-Mbit/s Ethernet interface supports DHCP. It uses a high-reliability fully hardwired TCP/IP stack chip (W3150A+) and transparently transfers data to and from the USB device. ($91.15—available now.)
