Compatible with the Cube or RACKtangle I/O chassis, Guardian Series DNx-DIO-448 high-density digital input boards read all 48 bits of input at sustained rates above 1 ksample/s. The boards’ A/D technique offers high flexibility; for example, in diagnostic mode, each digital input’s voltage level is measured for fast detection of short/open circuits or marginal/failing drive circuitry.

The analog monitoring capability can also serve as a tool for installation and data acquisition. Input switching levels and hysteresis are software selectable from 0 to 28 Vdc with 25-mV resolution. (From $1,200 — available 1 to 2 weeks ARO.)
