The Nemesis and MKJ Series breakaway connectors feature a simple push/pull mating mechanism to engage and disengage connector systems. Using a spring probe pin/pad contact system, the connectors are easily cleaned, can accommodate misalignment and use an internal clip mechanism to reduce electrical contact resistance.
Salt-spray resistant for more than 500 hours, the less-than-15-mm sealed Nemesis mini connectors have a 2,500-cycle lifespan and an anti-reflecting coat. Operating temperatures are 40° to 100°C, with a 3-A max current rating, 200-Vac rms voltage rating at sea level, 5,000-MΩ minimum insulation resistance, and 8-mΩ max contact resistance. The MKJ Series mini circular connectors are available with a variety of mounting options for both crimp and pc-board contacts and feature size 23 pin-and-socket contacts, with operating temperatures from 55° to 150°C, and 500-Vac rms, 60-Hz dielectric-withstanding voltage at sea level.
