Brushless dc amplifier runs at 20 kHz
The Model BDC-0250 brushless motor servo amplifier offers an output of 20
kHz. The board will accept 24 to 60-Vdc input (unregulated) and provide a
trapezoidal, 5-A continuous and 10-A peak drive. The drive is supplied via
a 90% efficient MOSFET power bridge to three-phase Wye- or delta-connected
brushless motor windings. An optional on-board dc to dc converter provides
all +/- 12- and +/- 5-Vdc supplies. Available options include
transconductance, with or without a power supply, and a velocity version??
with or without a power supply. Board-mounted pots allow current and gain
limit adjustments, while LEDs indicate amplifier and motor status.
Quick-connect terminal strips are provided. (Basic version with
transconductance, from $220–4 to 6 weeks ARO.) MFM Technology, Inc.
