Brushless dc motor incorporates planetary gear reducer
The 8BLG535-01 combines a brushless dc motor with a rugged planetary
gear reducer for high-power, high-reliability applications. The 0.750
(Dia) x 3 (L)-in. gear motor delivers a continuous 40 W, with a peak of
100 W. The 5.5-oz. device uses rare-earth magnets and high-strength gears
for a peak torque of 60 oz.-in. with a peak speed of 4,000 rpm at the gear
output shaft. The gear motor has integral Hall-effect sensors and may be
speed-controlled with a standard three-phase electronic drive. ($300
