Brushless motor is combined with amplifier and controller
The Brushless Current Loop (BCL) Series amplifier and the
Commutation-Velocity Board (CVB) are available along with the company's
line of rare-earth permanent magnet brushless motors. The BCL and
Hall/encoder CVB provide sinusoidal commutation of the motor. Connections
are via circular MS-connectors for the motor connections and screw
terminations for the motor feedback, amplifier, and user/controller I/O.
Amplifiers range in peak/continuous current from 10/5 to 80/40 A, while
the motors range in torque from 13 lb-in. at 4,000 rpm to 306 lb-in. at 2,
100 rpm. (13 lb-in. system with motors, encoders, amplifiers, and
supplies, less than $1,030/axis in large qty–stock to 2 weeks.) Westamp
