The AAT1185 is a single-output step-down controller that provides high-efficiency power conversion for 12-V adapters. It offers high- and low-side pins to drive a wide variety of external n-channel MOSFETs. By supporting both fully synchronous and non-synchronous operation, it supports applications such as wireless LANs, DSL and cable modems, notebook computers, and set-top boxes.
