VXL caching and virtualization software Version 1.2 enables host-based distributed flash volumes on SSDs and provides advanced services that include high availability and fault tolerance. The software features enterprise caching, support for virtualized services and distributed flash volumes that dynamically share resources amongst any virtual machine. The package works with Windows and Linux.
VXL software provides application performance acceleration using policy-based caching algorithms and the OCZ Z-Drive R4 PCIe SSD. The transparent distribution of all unallocated flash as a dynamic cache resource assures that the it is optimally utilized at all times, regardless of how many VMs are running concurrently.
