CAD software for designing MCMs
Finesse MCM Version 5.0 is the latest version of the company's CAD
software for designing multichip modules. The revised software has a
graphical user interface that allows user customization and multiple
active windows. Moreover, new software algorithms allow for routing of
complex via structures required for device fanouts, as well as gridless
routing. The software's enhanced resistor and dielectric generation
algorithms allow the creation of thick- or thin-film resistors based on
