Suited for ICP-sensor and other sensor/transducer applications requiring a constant excitation current, the Model FLX-ICP4 filter/amplifier card is designed to plug into the six-slot FLX-3006 Chassis System to support up to four channels with flexible signal conditioning. Each channel provides a user-selectable 4- or 8-mA constant-current source for sensor excitation, while the sensor’s return ac signal is conditioned through a differential fixed filter/amplifier whose characteristics can be independently configured.
Each channel has a fixed low-pass (from 1 Hz to 200 kHz) Butterworth or Bessel filter, as well as a fixed low-noise (typically 80 dB and SNR >100 dB), channels can be configured for single-ended operation for simple input applications. (Card: $220 / channel; chassis: $800 — available 8 weeks ARO.)
