Designed for use with multimedia cards, the MMC
card connector is available in 7- and 9-pin
versions. The 9-pin connectors come in two
models, the first with a Multimedia Card/
Standard Digital (MMC/SD) design, the second with
a revised SD design having a write-protect
switch, card lock notch, and card detect.
The surface-mountable connector has gold-plated
phosphor bronze contacts and is molded of
liquid-crystal polymer. It is available in trays
or on embossed tape. (7-pin version, $0.60
