A family of 1-mm-centerline PCI Express (PCIe) card-edge connectors includes X1 (36-pin), X4 (64-pin), X8 (98-pin), and X16 (164-pin) right-angle versions. The PCIe connectors support board-to-board distances from 5.84 to 16.68 mm and are compatible with 1.6 to 2.4-mm-thick motherboards and 1.6-mm-thick daughtercards.
Offered in stack heights of 5.84, 11.17, and 16.68 mm, the PCIe connectors are arranged in a 4-row format with a 2-mm pitch. Each serial link supports 2.5 Gbits/s (per direction) in 100-W Gen1 systems. (X1 connector, from $6.28 ea/volume — available now.)
