The ISL54405 bidirectional, dual SPDT analog switch delivers 0.0006% THD performance with a 2-Vrms signal into 20-kΩ load and a signal muting of 125 dB into a 20-kΩ load. It is designed to pass analog signals that are positive and negative with respect to ground, with inputs that accommodate ground-referenced signals up to 2 Vrms, while operating from a single 3.3- or 5-Vdc supply.
Digital logic inputs are 1.8-V logic-compatible at 3.3 or 5 V. The device also offers a programmable soft-switch feature and click/pop circuitry at each signal pin to eliminate the clicks and pops typically associated with power-up/down and channel switching events.
