Cell phone driver drives 9 LEDs

Suited for cell phone displays and lighting, the LTC3219 LED driver provides nine individually configurable current sources (at 28 mA with 64-step linear brightness control) for main, sub, and RGB displays. Features include efficiencies up to 91%, a 2.9 to 5.5-V input voltage range, and up to 250-mA total output current.

Housed in QFN-20 packages, the device also features an internal current reference, internal soft-start, and short-circuit and thermal protection. ($1.80 ea/1,000available now.)
