Ceramic tubular capacitors feature extrusion process
The addition of an extrusion process to current manufacturing methods of ceramic tubular capacitors enhances their design flexibility. The process results in sizes up to 1 in. long and diameters of ½ in.. The capacitors are used in such applications as EMI filtering for multi-pin connectors, RFI suppression, and circuit protection.
